She’s has been dealing with ‘bad guys’ all across the galaxies ever since she made her first appearance in DC comics back in 1941.
Now, Wonder Woman, the fictional demigoddess and the warrior princess of the Amazon, has a new avatar to play. She is all set to be named as the new honorary ambassador for the United Nations at a ceremony on 21 October.
According to the UN, her character will promote messages against gender-based violence and women's empowerment.
The DC website has shared that all the actresses who have played the character might attend the event.
Earlier too, the UN has had animated characters as mascots like Tinkerbell and Winnie the Pooh.
