The 2017 Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences was awarded to American economist Richard H Thaler on Monday.
He was awarded the prize for his contributions to behavioural economics.
Thaler is the co-author of the global bestseller ‘Nudge’ (2008) in which the concepts of behavioral economics are used to tackle many of society’s major problems.
