For the last three years, Baadshah Pehalwan Khan, 21, has been beating the living hell out of European heavy weight freestyle wrestlers. His family, residing in the village of Dolian, near the Wah Cantonment are hoping that he would represent the green flag at the stage of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).
Khan, who grew up in France, happens to be the first ever professional Pakistani freestyle heavyweight wrestler. Dressed in a shiny green and white costume, with a Pakistani flag printed on it, Khan made his debut in professional wrestling in 2012, as reported by Dawn.
Khan was spotted by officials of Wrestling Stars (Catch WS) in France, Europe’s leading professional wrestling company. Since 2012 has been competing all over Europe against some of the most fierce wrestlers in the arena.
Baadshah Pehalwan Khan also competes along with his partner, the Tunisian Al Jihan as ‘The Muslim Connexion’.
His family is overwhelmed with joy as their son is the first Pakistani to enter the world of professional wrestling entertainment. His uncles Syed Nisar Ahmed, Irshad Ahmed and Imtiaz Ahmed believe that their nephew could soon be seen wearing Pakistani green at American shores.
Syed Nisar Ahmed said that his brother Fayyaz Ahmed (Khan’s father) and his family moved to Paris when Baadshah was 10 years old.
Although, he grew up in France, Badhshah is Pakistani at heart. He dresses in the colours of the Pakistani flag.

His uncle, Imtiaz Ahmed, said he is hopeful his nephew will be successful in his audition for WWE Tough Enough 2015 which is a professional wrestling reality television series produced by WWE. Participants of the show undergo professional wrestling training and compete for a contract with WWE.
His family expressed hope that Badshah Pehalwan Khan, whose catchphrase is ‘Pakistan Will Rise’, will not only bring honour to Pakistan but would also put their small village on the map.
However, it is sad news for the family as Baadshah didn’t make into the WWE this year. He posted this on his Facebook page which reveals that he did get selected in WWE Tough Enough this season.
