President Obama turns 54 today, his second last birthday as the President of the United States.
Obama has already kicked off an early start to his birthday celebrations – heading off with friends to Camp David for a short trip. We believe that’s truly well-deserved.
And while POTUS celebrates his birthday, The Quint has decided to take a little trip down memory lane, reminiscing some of Barack Obama’s best moments during his stint at the White House – one which comes to an end in 2017.

Now, drinking isn’t exactly an uncommon thing for a President and Obama is no exception. POTUS has been photographed several times, merrily enjoying his beverage – whether it be a pint of beer at breakfast or a glass of wine in the evening. How could he not, though? Did you know that the White House is best known for its beer? Yup, the Presidential mansion has been brewing its own beer for a while now and in fact offers three special kinds – Honey Ale, Honey Porter and Honey Blond Ale.
Game On!
One of the many reasons we love Obama? He’s a sport; no kidding. Baseball, golf, basketball, you name it, POTUS has played them all. According to media reports, in fact, the White House tennis court metamorphosed into a basketball court when the Obamas moved in. But the president soon shifted his preference to golf just to avoid injuries. Quick thinking.
The Media’s Favourite
He’s a charmer and (more often than not) an utter media delight. In fact, it’s not just the press but also the netizens of the world (read: social media) who dote on him. When Jimmy Kimmel Live! invited the President to read a series of “mean tweets” about him that people had sent in, Obama did what any self-respecting President would do – go on the show and read them aloud, of course! And did you possibly miss those scintillating dance moves at the State Dinner in Nairobi, Kenya?
Yes, Obama knows how to get the cameras to like him.

The Family Guy
We’ve all seen them. Pictures of the President of the United States taking his girls out – like any regular father would – to grocery stores and Thanksgiving celebrations, Christmas holidays and ice cream outings. The Obama family album (at least to the paparazzi) screams adorable.
Grey is the New Black
It’s not just us – the whole world has noticed how Obama’s hair has greyed significantly during his Presidential tenure. After all, being the President of the most powerful country is not an easy job.
But then guys, bade bade shehron mein aisi chhoti chhoti baatein hoti rehti hai!
We’re sure Obama would allow himself a chuckle and agree with us on this one.
