Next week, London will see the launch of The Bunyadi – the first naked restaurant in the city.

Shed your clothes, shed your technology, the idea here is to enjoy a meal without any interference from material possessions, much like the Flintstones!

Restaurant-goers are asked to remove their clothes and wear robes before entering the restaurant. While being seated at the bar, they can sip on their drinks while still being in their robes.

Before being seated, the staff – who will also be naked – will ask you to remove your robes and then sit down for a vegan or a non-vegan meal.

There is no electricity and the restaurant is dimly lit with just candles. Food is served raw or is prepared over a fire. They have a selection of natural, non-preservative wine, clay crockery and the cutlery is edible, made from bread or with vegetables.

While it may strike some to gawk at the fellow restaurant-goers, the light is dim, just enough to be able to see who is seated directly beside oneself. Selfies here have the potential to get hundreds of likes and even be banned from social media, but fortunately for the privacy and the no-technology experience, phones are banned from the seating area.

Whether you’re a fan of skinny dipping or just adventurous, this restaurant will surely be an experience – once you get past the 43,000-strong waiting list!
