Some reports suggest  that the Kurdish Workers’ Party was behind the explosion.

Islamic State, Kurdish insurgents and Syrian-Kurdish fighters are attacking Turkey to try and take advantage of last month’s failed coup, Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Numan Kurtulmus said on Friday.

A suicide truck bomb launched by the outlawed militant group Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) caused a blast at a police headquarters in Turkey’s south eastern province of Sirnak on Friday, the local governor’s office said in a statement.

Death Toll Rises to 11

The death toll of the car bomb explosion in Turkey shot upto to 11 which included three civilians, while 78 people were wounded, local broadcaster, NTV reported.

Nine people, including one police officer, were killed in the car bomb explosion, while 64 others were wounded, hospital sources said.
