It’s something about this time of the year that makes people want less but give more. In Birmingham, England, the biggest mosque opened its doors to the homeless to feed them, keep them warm and give gifts.

Sometimes it is not possible for these homeless people to have the facility to cook their food so why not we should cook the food and give them a hot dinner.

With terrorism, unfortunately, operating in all parts of the world, people have started to develop trust issues with many religions, skin-tones and cultures. However, this feed the homeless project started by the Birmingham Mosque brought together Muslim volunteers across the UK to make food, donate money and warm clothes. A local volunteer Luke Holland said,

Islam is a peaceful religion and this is proven here today where we’ve got hundreds of Muslims out there giving their time, you know, we’ve raised thousands of pounds that Muslims have donated across the UK, not just Birmingham and it’s great to see.

We are flooded with Muslim businessmen, Muslim organisations who wants to donate, some in terms of money, some in terms of goods, so we are flooded and all that we are doing here, it is all sponsored by other Muslims.
