Donald Trump lashed out at President Barack Obama on Wednesday during a Florida rally, calling him the “founder of ISIS”. He also remarked that the terrorist group “honours” him and that Hillary Clinton is his “crooked” accomplice.

After innumerable controversial comments streaming their way in over the last few months, Trump seems to be at it again. His remarks on Hillary had a clamorous crowd screaming “Lock her up” as his shocking accusations were compounded with additions.

While addressing Obama, the US Presidential Republican Nominee emphasised his middle name, a tactic that’s usually been employed by people who claim Obama is secretly a Muslim.

Trump remarked that the President always shies away from using the term “radical Islamic terrorism” and Clinton follows suit for fear of repercussions “because then bad things could happen to her if she offends the president. Bad things could happen to her. So she’s afraid to say it. Hillary’s afraid to say it. She did say that she would say it because of me, but she’s afraid to say it. But, we have a real problem with radical Islamic terror. It’s what it is. It’s terror.”

Trump’s statement adds to his recent criticism of the Obama administration’s handling of the terror threat. He had previously accused only Clinton of having a “founding” role in ISIS.
