A video of a man replacing what seems to be an AI-generated poster saying "Tell Modi" with another poster carrying text that said "I Told Modi" is being widely circulated on the internet as a recent incident.
What did the viral post say?: An X (formerly Twitter) premium user shared the viral clip with a caption saying, "Goose Bumps. Hats off to this gentlemen, Now Pakistani must know how Ruthless is Modiji."
What are the facts?: The viral clip has been altered. The original one showed actor Sebastian Stan replacing Thunderbolts poster with one that said The New Avengers.
How did we find that out?: Using the help of Google Lens, we conducted a reverse image search and found the same visuals published on an Instagram handle named 'bonacinemas'.
It was uploaded on 7 May and its caption said, "#TheNewAvengers , but still #FilmedForIMAX experience #Thunderbolts* in #IMAX now!."
The clip showed Stan replacing a movie poster with another one that said The New Avengers.
We went through the official X handle of Marvel Studios and found the same video uploaded on 5 May.
The visuals made it clear that the viral clip had been edited to add references to the Pahalgam terror attack and Operation Sindoor.
News reports: A report published by Deadline said that the actor was spotted replacing a poster for the latest Marvel film. Stan, who plays a character named 'Bucky' in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), was dressed in black from head to tie like his character.
Conclusion: It is evident that the video has been altered and is being shared with a false claim.
