• We found this video on many social media pages which were meant for entertainment.

What we found: We conducted a Google reverse image search on some keyframes of the video, which directed us to the identical video on YouTube posted by 'MB TV' channel.

• The channel's "About" section indicated that it is an "Entertainment channel."

• We, then, browsed through the channel and found other videos which were scripted in nature. You can see some of them here and here.

• We, then, came across a video in which we found the same girl. We compared the two frames and found similarities. You can see the video here.

• Similarly, we also found the video on a Facebook page called Disha Media which was listed under the "video creator" category. You can see the video here.

• They also had a message in their "Intro" - " This page is made for entertainment, education, inspiration purpose. For more update, please follow our page." (sic.)

Conclusion: A scripted video showing an old man wed to a 12-year-old girl is being shared as real incident on social media platforms.
