Resplendent in a saree with a bright shot of vermilion, TMC Lok Sabha member Nusrat Jahan had attended Durga puja celebrations of Suruchi Sangha in Kolkata with her husband on 6 October.

Jahan, the first-time MP from Bashirhat, has been in the line of fire from the Muslim clergy for bringing disrepute to the religion.

CLAIM

A video is now circulating on social media with the claim that it shows Jahan performing Dhunchui dance. Actor Paresh Rawal took to Twitter to reply to a tweet that showed the same video and claimed that the woman seen in the video is the Bengal MP.
