ARMA 3 Game Visuals Falsely Shared as Pak's F-16 Fighter Jets 'Attacking India'

These videos are unrelated to Operation Bunyan Al Marsoos, it shows a video game simulation, ARMA 3.

A set of two very similar videos showing a fighter jet dropping missiles and causing destruction are going viral online to claim that these are Pakistan's F-16 fighter jets.

The claim also adds that these visuals depict Pakistani Forces 'striking back' India as a part of their Operation Bunyan Al Marsous.

What's the truth?: These videos are unrelated to Operation Bunyan Al Marsoos.

  • It actually shows a video game simulation, ARMA 3.

How did we find out the truth?: We performed a reverse image search on some of the keyframes of the viral videos which led us to similar videos on YouTube and Instagram.

  • The YouTube video stated that it shows 'Military Simulation ArmA 3' while the Instagram post did not carry any context but it was shared on 6 January 2025.

  • The videos showed similar background, jets, blasts and even missile throwing patterns.

We did not find any other credible report from Indian or Pakistani media that supported the claim.

Conclusion: Two video game simulation clips have gone viral online to claim that they show Pakistani jets attacking India.
