A video of a multi-coloured fighter plane doing spectacular stunts is going viral on WhatsApp and other social media platforms, with a message that it's the Rafale plane for which India signed a deal with France.

Fact-checking website Smhoaxslayer.com reported that the text accompanying the video read: “That’s Rafale Fighter plane for which India has done deal with France! Don’t miss the ending. Awesome !!! Your heart in your mouth OMG!!!”

It’s a Remote-Controlled Plane!

A careful study of the video makes it amply clear that the fighter plane is not, in fact, a real plane but a remote-controlled one. In one of the frames, the fighter plane, still in the air, stands perpendicular to the runway. When one compares the plane, its shadow and the distance from the camera, they don't add up.

Here’s a video in which a person assembles the toy plane and flies it in the sky with help of a remote.

The video, which is now going viral in India, was posted on a Chinese website in December 2017, Smhoaxslayer.com, reported.
