TRUE OR FALSE?

The claims made in this viral image are fake at multiple levels. Firstly, the language that has been used in this document is not professional at all. The document uses words like ‘majestratives.’ It is either ‘magistrates’ or ‘magistrate.’ Statements such as ‘All we have knew’ are examples of wrong usage of the language. Incorporating ellipsis (three dots) is another instance of proving that it is not a professional document.

Secondly, the format does not adhere to the regular rules of any legal notice. Usage of a watermark and the way the subject line is written are further indications of an amateurish attempt of writing a legal notice.

Thirdly, the letter claims to have been issued by the High Court of Maharashtra. But there is no judicial body by that name. It is actually the Bombay High Court. Also, prejudge is not a post in the Indian judiciary, as mentioned in the document.

Furthermore, sources within the company  managing PUBG confirmed to The Quint that the claims made in the viral post are completely false.
