TRUE OR FALSE?

This viral image on social media is false. The image is from Prime Minister Narendra Modi's three-day visit to London in 2015. He was accorded the Guard of Honour at the Treasury Quadrangle, Kings Charles Street in London. In the ceremonial reception, he was welcomed by the 48-member F Company Scots guard accompanied by the regimental band of Irish guards, reported The Indian Express.

ANI shared a video of the ceremonial welcome on Twitter.

Furthermore, this is not first time an Indian dignitary has been accorded this reception by the British army in London. Previously, Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and President Pratibha Patil have been accorded the same honour at the Guildhall in London.

Apart from Indian dignitaries, other world leaders have also inspected the Guard of Honour at the Guildhall, London.
