A video of Union Home Minister Amit Shah speaking in the Parliament is being circulated with a claim that it showed him speaking against Pakistan and talking about the formation of 'Akhand Israel' and 'Akhand Bharat'.
What exactly did the video show?: In the 43-seconds-long clip, Shah was heard saying in Hindi that loosely translated to, "What is Pakistan? Pakistan is not the name of a country, it is a part of Akhand Bharat. If Pakistan has played the role of a broker between America and Iran, so what?...We do not need to worry about this. Iran will fall, then Pakistan will fall, which will lead to the formation of Akhand Israel' and Akhand Bharat. Asim Munir is our enemy and India knows how to deal with its enemies. (sic)"
How did we find that out?: We noticed that the watermark of "Sansad TV" on the top-left corner of the viral video. It also carried a date and a timestamp at the bottom, which listed the time of speech as 18:06 and the date as 30 March.
Finding the original version: The full-version of Shah's speech was available on the official YouTube channel of Sansad TV, which was posted on 30 March.
It was titled, "LS | HM Amit Shah's Reply | Discussion on Under Rule 193 | Left-Wing Extremism | 30 March, 2026."
At around the 18:06 timestamp, Shah talked about the left-wing extremism and later announced how Bastar has been almost freed from Naxalism.
We did not find any mentions of Pakistan or Iran in the entire video.
What did detection tools show?: Team WebQoof ran the video through an AI detection tool named 'DeepFake-O-Meter' to further verify its authenticity.
Five detectors conclusively showed that the video was indeed manipulated using AI.
Conclusion: It is evident that the video has been manipulated using AI and does not real remarks made by Home Minister Amit Shah in Lok Sabha.
