How did we find out the truth?: We noticed the background carrying 'The Economic Club New York' tag and performed a relevant keyword search on Google.
This led us to an old video shared on 15 September 2016 on the official website of the Economic Club of New York.
This video showed a speech followed by a conversation with John Paulson, President, Paulson & Co.
The video showed Trump criticizing former US President Barack Obama and his policies.
It does not show him talking about Pakistan or India.
AI-generated detection: We ran the video through AI-detection tools like contrails AI and Hive Moderation.
Hive Moderation results concluded that this video's audio is 99 percent AI-generated.
Contrails AI also detected AI-generated content in the video.
The results also showed high levels of manipulation in the audio of the video.
Conclusion: A deepfake video of Donald Trump is going viral to claim that he spoke against Pakistan to support India.
