CLAIM

A viral image on social media claims that Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan, along with son Abhishek Bachchan, was seen carrying his domestic help’s body who allegedly passed away Wednesday, 27 June.

The claim, along with an image, says that the Bachchan’s domestic help had been working with the family for past 40 years.

Several social media users have shared the image on Twitter and Facebook with a similar narrative.

Servant who worked for 40 years in Amitabh's house passed away. His body is carried by both Amitabh & Abhishek ...Money isn't everthing...few people stand for human values.

TRUE OR FALSE?

The claim being shared with the viral image is false. Amitabh Bachchan posted the image of him and Abhishek lending a hand to carry someone’s body on his blog on 8 June. He mentioned here that the body was of Sheetal Jain, his secretary and manager.
