It has been over two weeks since Congress President Rahul Gandhi returned from his Kailash Manasarovar Yatra. However, the BJP has not let go of their original claim that Gandhi hasn’t actually undertaken the yatra.

On Monday, 17 September, BJP in-charge of national Information & Technology Amit Malviya tweeted a video of Gandhi “going blank” when he was asked about his experience during his Kailash visit.

BJP’s social media in-charge Priti Gandhi also tweeted the video, asking if he actually visited Kailash Manasarovar.

Video Real, But Cropped Out

Rahul Gandhi was asked about his yatra, after he addressed the party workers in Bhopal recently. In the full video posted on Rahul Gandhi’s official YouTube channel, one can see that he also goes on to answer the question, contrary to Malviya’s claims that he was “blank.”

This was pointed out by a Twitter user @IAmAlok_INC on Malviya’s thread.

Post the 48th minute in the video, Gandhi responded to the question saying that he returned from Kailash as a “completely transformed” man and that his thought process has become “deeper.”

Both Malviya and Priti’s tweets were retweeted over 8,000 times and liked over 10,000 times. Their tweets have not been deleted yet.
