The candidates who appeared for the Graduate aptitude test in engineering (GATE) can now apply for the management trainee programme at the Steel Authority of India or SAIL. The minimum eligible criteria for SAIL applications is-
- At least 65 percent marks in the engineering disciplines of mechanical, metallurgy, electrical, chemical, instrumentation and mining.
- GATE 2019 marks
SAIL has announced that they have 142 seats for this recruitment and they will only accept the GATE 2019 score, any GATE score prior to this is not eligible. The candidates who are interested can apply online by visiting the official website of SAIL. Here is how you can apply online.
- Visit the official website of SAIL at https://www.sail.co.in/
- Click on career option on the homepage.
- Then you’ll be taken to a new page where under Jobs click on MT recruitment 2019.
- Fill in all your details and save and submit your application.
The GATE score will be the basis of selection. If the application is selected, then the candidate in invited for personal interview and group discussion round. The last date of application for SAIL MT is 14 June 2019. The maximum age limit for the applicants is 28.
After completion of selection process the selected candidates can be posted to any location which cannot be changed according to the SAIL guidelines.
