- Ahead of the Tamil Nadu Assembly polls on May 16, the Election Commission has seized unaccounted money of over Rs 100 crore in the state, since the model code of conduct came into effect on March 4. Out of the total amount, the Election Commission said that it had returned Rs 47.91 crore after relevant documents were produced.
