TDP MPs continue protest in RS after adjournment, refuse to leave

TDP MPs continued to protest in the Rajya Sabha well into the evening, staying past sunset, refusing to leave.

The House was adjourned for the day at around 2:35 pm after three adjournments earlier.

TDP members had been protesting since the morning of 5 April over their demand. They have been raising the demand throughout the second-half of the budget session that has been washed out.

The session will end on Friday, 5 April.
