Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Friday, 22 February, continued his party's momentum in attacking Prime Minister Narendra Modi over purportedly shooting for a documentary on the day the Pulwama terror attack took place.
Taking to Twitter, Gandhi said, "Even three hours after the news of 40 jawans being martyred in Pulwama came, the 'Prime Time Minister' kept shooting for a film. The nation's heart and the families of those who were martyred were grieving. And he was happily doing a photoshoot."
The BJP was quick to retort, accusing Gandhi of spreading "fake news" and saying that he might have known of the attack in advance.

The Congress president's jibe came a day after party spokesperson criticised the PM for reportedly shooting a "propaganda and publicity" documentary during and right after the attack, and slammed Amit Shah for 'politicising' terrorism.
The Congress said it had observed seven days of mourning for India’s loss and that it is now raising questions against PM Modi for shooting a film in Jim Corbett on the day of the Pulwama terror attack.
“This film shooting went on till 6:30 pm that day. He had tea and snacks at 6:45 pm. It is horrific that till four hours after such an attack, Modi was busy with his own branding, photoshoot and snacks,” Congress alleged.
The BJP hit back, saying the Opposition party has shown its “true colours” after maintaining the “facade” of standing with the government and security forces following the terror strike.
Addressing a press conference, Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad outrightly denied that Modi was out for a shoot.
He said the prime minister was in Ramnagar forest for an “official programme related to tiger conservation” on the day of the attack.
“But the weather was so bad that he held the meeting from there, and later drove far away to the airport,” he said.
