Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi on Friday visited the Apollo Hospital in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, to enquire about the condition of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa, who was hospitalised recently for fever and dehydration and said "she is improving and going to be alright."
In brief remarks after visiting the hospital, Rahul said:
I wanted to give my support and Congress president’s support to the Chief Minister. The Chief Minister is improving and she is going to be alright. I want to give maximum energy to Jayalalithaaji, so that she gets well soon.
