The hashtag began trending because the Indian media’s coverage was perceived as treating the Nepal earthquake as a public relations exercise on behalf of the Indian government.

Anurag Kashyap’s ambitious period drama Bombay Velvet is currently facing trouble at the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). According to reports, the Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma starrer was screened for members of the CBFC last week and the Board recommended an ‘Adult’ certificate for it. The CBFC allegedly has a problem with the amount of violence in the film as well as certain swear words used by its actors.
