Monsoon Session: LS, RS Adjourned Several Times Amid Ruckus on Pegasus Reports

Both houses of the Parliament were adjourned several times after they resumed proceedings on Tuesday, 27 July, amid ruckus over the alleged snooping allegations in the 'Pegasus Project' reports.
Several MPs on Tuesday also demanded a discussion over the Assam-Mizoram border clashes that led to the death of at least five policemen on Monday.

7 Oppn Parties Seek to Meet President
Seven Opposition parties, except Congress, have sought time from President Ram Nath Kovind, to seek his intervention "to uphold the dignity of the Constitution of India and parliamentary rules and procedures," ANI reported.
The parties would also apprise him on the Pegasus issue and demand for repealing of farms laws, and urge him to direct the government to discuss both issues during the ongoing Parliament session.
