Aam Aadmi Party sources have indicated that while Navjot Singh Sidhu may not be the Chief Ministerial candidate he could be the chief campaigner in the Punjab Assembly elections next year.
When former cricketer and commentator Navjot Singh Sidhu announced his resignation from the Rajya Sabha, the frenzied rumour mills said he was going to join the Aam Aadmi Party and become the face of the party in poll-bound Punjab.

Kejriwal appeared to suggest that talk of Sidhu becoming the AAP’s Chief Ministerial candidate would be premature.
