Kiren Rijiju, Union Minister of State for Home Affairs said on Friday that India would take 'drastic' action against Pakistan as it was crossing the Line of Control (LoC) repeatedly. The MP from Arunachal Pradesh, who was speaking to reporters at the sidelines of a rally here, however, declined to share details.

Rijiju said that the security of the country's longest bridge, the newly opened ‘Dr Bhupen Hazarika Setu’ at Dhola-Sadiya would be tightened.

Further, Rijiju appealed to members of the militant outfits to return to the mainstream for development of the Northeast.

Rijiju said at the programme held to celebrate three years of BJP rule:

With the goodwill initiative of ‘Sab Ka Sath, Sabka Vikas’ under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, our government has been trying for all round development of North East.

The Arunachal Pradesh MP highlighted various projects undertaken by the Centre for the Northeast during the last three years.
