Kiren Rijiju, Union Minister of State for Home Affairs said on Friday that India would take 'drastic' action against Pakistan as it was crossing the Line of Control (LoC) repeatedly. The MP from Arunachal Pradesh, who was speaking to reporters at the sidelines of a rally here, however, declined to share details.
Rijiju said that the security of the country's longest bridge, the newly opened ‘Dr Bhupen Hazarika Setu’ at Dhola-Sadiya would be tightened.
Further, Rijiju appealed to members of the militant outfits to return to the mainstream for development of the Northeast.
Earlier, speaking at the rally, Rijiju spoke of the NDA government at the Centre as being committed to the development of the Northeast and that, it was working for the implementation of schemes for the benefit of the region’s people.
