Reacting to news that Kamal Haasan might join politics, Tamil Nadu chief minister Palaniswani on Wednesday said: “Kamal (Haasan) does not know anything about politics. Let him express his opinions. After he enters politics I'll reply to him.”
It was on Tuesday that the actor, seemingly frustrated with the state of affairs recently, has threatened to enter politics, unless of course his 'cryptic' tweets meant something else altogether.
The ongoing controversy over Kamal Haasan’s recent statement about corruption in the Tamil Nadu government and his show Bigg Boss Tamil, which has attracted criticism from several groups across the spectrum, took another turn on Tuesday night with the actor tweeting a poem hinting at joining politics.
Taking to Twitter, the actor wrote that if he decides, he could become the ‘mudhalvar’. The word is popularly used to refer to the Chief Minister in Tamil Nadu.
