Prashant Bhushan, who had appeared as advocate in the Supreme Court in a case pertaining to the so-called Sahara-Birla diaries, said:

How can allegations of bribery against the current Prime Minister of the country and other top politicians, based on evidence obtained by investigating agencies, not be taken seriously and probed accordingly?

CPI(M) leader Prakash Karat also joined the protest, and shared the stage with Yadav, Bhushan and Dangwimsai Pul.

Protesters Take Out ‘Ghotala Rath Yatra'

The protesters used satire to take a dig at PM Narendra Modi. A 'leader' atop the 'Ghotala Rath Yatra' answered questions on probity from the crowd, by saying that he was both the accused and the investigator, but that people need not worry!
