Hardik Patel Tweets Veiled Poetic Attack on Modi and BJP
Patel subverted the lyrics of ‘Ramchandra Keh Gaye Sia Se’, a song from the 1970 Bollywood film ‘Gopi’.
Hardik Patel, whose organisation has been blaming the BJP for releasing his allegedly morphed sex CD and a tape of him allegedly sitting around with a woman, took a poetic dig at the party and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Friday, 17 November 2017.
Patel subverted the lyrics of ‘Ramchandra Keh Gaye Sia Se’, a song from the 1970 Bollywood film Gopi.
Hardik alluded to several political issues in his poem. The tweet, which came just two days after the Hindu Mahasabha installed a bust of Mahatma Gandhi's assassin Nathuram Godse at its Gwalior office, made reference to that incident.
Apparently referencing the PM’s role in the release of his alleged sex CDs, Hardik brought in Modi’s wife Jashodaben Narendrabhai Modi into the argument. He wrote that a person who couldn’t sustain a relationship with his wife, has in turn brought out another’s sex CDs.
Hardik also blamed the party for communal politics, atrocities on Dalits, and cow slaughter.
In the past week, 3 tapes have surfaced, allegedly showing Hardik with different women. The Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti (PAAS) on Thursday had alleged that the Gujarat chief minister and state BJP unit chief were behind the "morphed" sex clips of its leader, a charge rejected by the ruling party.
The BJP dismissed the allegation as "baseless" and termed the circulation of the video clips as the "fallout" of a dispute within the PAAS.
