Congress Poll Candidate Against Gujarat CM Rupani Arrested

Gujarat legislator Indraneel Rajyaguru’s brother Deepu was allegedly attacked at the Brahm Samaj Chowk.

Congress' Gujarat legislator Indraneel Rajyaguru, who is contesting against Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani from Rajkot West in the upcoming Assembly elections, was on arrested on 2 December following ruckus between party workers and police.

The tussle broke out after his brother Deepu was allegedly attacked while campaigning at the Brahm Samaj Chowk. Indraneel, the sitting member from Rajkot East, and other Congress workers rushed to the scene and went to the police station, where an argument allegedly broke out. The Congress legislator and others were arrested after they sat down opposite the police station to demand action.
