BJP Leads in 37 Municipalities
BJP leading in 37 municipalities and Congress leading in 26 municipalities, reported ANI.
BJP Leads in 47 Municipalities, Congress Win 16
As reported Times of India, the BJP has won 47 of the state's 75 municipal seats, while the Congress has reportedly bagged 16 seats.
Additionally, the report adds, 4 seats were won by independent candidates, 1 by the BSP and 1 by the NCP. No party received a majority in 6 of the seats.
The report also mentions that the two district panchayats that went to the polls, Banaskantha and Kheda, have both gone with the BJP.
BJP Wins Vadnagar
The BJP won Kheralu and Vijapur municipalities along with Vadnagar in the Mehsana district.
BJP Wins 26 Muncipalities: EC
TV9 Gujarati, quoting an Election Commission report and said that the BJP has won 26 municipalities while the Congress bagged eight seats.
BJP Wins Dhrol
BJP has reportedly won the Dhrol municipality in Jamnagar district. This municipality was earlier held by the Congress.
