Former Telecom Minister Dayanidhi Maran, who was today chargesheeted by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in telecom exchange case claimed innocence, saying he has done "no wrong”.
CBI alleged that Maran used high-speed data lines provided by state-run companies for the benefit of a TV channel run by his brother. To this Maran said that he was ready to face the case legally.
I have repeatedly said I have done no wrong. A case related to this had come up before the Supreme Court last year and was heard by a bench headed by CJI T S Thakur, who had remarked that this case was made out because of political reasons.Dayanidhi Maran, former Telecom Minister
