Deal Firmly With Militants: Jaitley Tells Army in Kashmir

Arun Jaitley impressed upon the commanders to give a befitting reply to any misadventure from across the border.

Defence Minister Arun Jaitley on Wednesday asked the Army to remain prepared to give a befitting reply to any misadventure from across the border, during his visit to review security situation in Jammu and Kashmir.

His visit comes in the aftermath of two security personnel being beheaded by the Pakistani Army after crossing the Line of Control (LoC).

He also asked the forces to deal firmly with the inimical elements but ensure safety of the innocent people, said officials.
