‘Two Leaves’ Case: AIADMK Delegation Meets EC Officials

On 28 September, the EC rejected Dinkaran’s plea requesting an additional 15 days to submit affidavits in the case.

A delegation of the AIADMK met officials of the Election Commission in New Delhi on Friday, 29 September, to submit documents relating to the retrieval of the ‘two leaves’ symbol.

Speaking to ANI after submitting the documents, AIADMK MP V Maitreyan said they were “200 percent confident of winning the case.”

This comes a day after the EC rejected TTV Dinkaran's plea requesting an additional 15 days to submit the relevant documents and affidavits in the 'two leaves’ symbol case.

The EC will hear the matter next on 6 October.
