Rashtritya Janada Dal chief Lalu Prasad Yadav dismissed the discrepancies in the age of his sons as per the affidavits filed by them, as rumours.
Lalu said on Tuesday that there was no error and whatever was mentioned in the voter list was final. “Tejaswi’s age in his voter ID is real and there is no dispute on that. What is written in the voter list is final,” he said.
Lau’s younger son Tejaswi, however, said there is an error in the affidavit and added that they have filed a complaint in this regard.
The affidavit filed by the RJD chief’s elder son Tej Pratap Yadav, while submitting his nomination from the Mahua Assembly seat, shows his age as 25 years. The affidavit filed by his younger son Tejaswi, who is contesting from the Raghopur assembly seat, shows his age as 26 years.
