Pakistani Actor-Singer Reshma Shot Dead, Allegedly by Her Husband

Pakistani actor Reshma was shot dead, allegedly by her husband, in the Nowshera Kalan area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Pakistani actor and singer Reshma was shot dead, allegedly by her husband, in the Nowshera Kalan area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Reshma was known for her many popular Pashto songs and has also acted in the famous Pakistani drama Zhobal Goluna.

She was the suspect's fourth wife and used to live with her brother in the Hakimabad area of the city, reports a Pakistani news channel. According to the police, the suspect had entered the house and opened fire at his wife amidst a domestic dispute, after which he managed to escape the crime scene.

This murder is the 15th incident of violence against female artists in Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa this year itself. The police has registered the case, after which an investigation has begun.
