Vladimir Kara-Murza, one of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s most high-profile critics, gave his first interview after coming out of a coma.

Kara-Mirza, who is a Russian politician and journalist, had suddenly taken ill during a meeting, and then diagnosed with poisoning.

Speaking on the Putin regime, he said:

Well, what the Putin regime wants to do is intimidate and scare people into stopping opposition activities, into submission, and there has been an increasing number of people, political activists, investigative journalists who have died one way or the other within Russia and outside.
