Maneka Gandhi, Prakash Javadekar to Hold High-Level Meet Tomorrow

Officials of NCPCR, CBSE, NCERT and Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan will also be present in the meeting.

• The Women and Child Development Minister Maneka Gandhi will hold a high-level meeting on 13 September with HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar to discuss incidents of child sexual abuse in schools, a senior government official said.
• Officials of the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights, CBSE, NCERT and Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan will also be present in the meeting.
• The meeting will be held in light of the recent murder of 7-year-old Pradyumn Thakur in Gurugram’s Ryan International School.
