It seems that the India’s premier investigating agency has formed two parallel teams for the corruption probe against the Delhi CM Secretary Rajendra Kumar. One team is investigating the case, and the other is preparing sharp counter replies to the allegations made by top leaders of the Delhi government. On day two of the investigation, the CBI on one hand questioned the main accused Rajendra Kumar for 10 hours, and on the other its media wing gave rebuttals to all allegations made by Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and his cohorts.
Day two of the war between Kejriwal and the CBI started with the Delhi CM tweeting at 9.28 am, giving out the list of the documents seized by the CBI. In the tweet Kejriwal claimed that some of the documents have no connection with the case.
This tweet triggered another slug fest between the two fronts. The CBI media wing, after consulting top officials, sent out a message three and half hours later denying the above tweet.

Kejriwal, who won the Delhi election on the issue of corruption, instead of taking action against his secretary, was busy tweeting about corrupt practices of Finance Minister Arun Jaitley.
Sources in the CBI claim that they are confident of the corruption case against Kumar. The CBI officials have so far been able to gather incriminating evidence from Kumar, who was earlier not sharing his email password with the officers.
Once called a caged parrot by the Supreme Court, it seems the CBI will now leave no stone unturned to allegations levelled on against Kumar.
In the fight between Centre and the State, will the CBI be allowed to conduct a fair probe? Kejriwal, who is targeting the PM Modi and Jaitley, is all out to protect his confidante and secretary. Time will only decide who will win what has become a political war, rather than a fight against corruption.
