- Former BJP MLA Kiran Kumar has been arrested after three students died from food poisoning at his Vidhyavaridhi International Boarding school in Tumkur, Karnataka, on Wednesday.
- Another student and a guard were also affected and are currently undergoing treatment.
- A case has been registered at Huliyar Police Station. District health officers’ team is present at the location to carry out a probe.
