The stalker, who has been identified as 36-year-old Nitesh Sharma, an IT professional, is now in police custody. CCTV footage has now also revealed how relentlessly Sharma followed Aditi and her family and even went up to her apartment at 2 am on Monday.

In the video, Sharma’s car can be seen tailing Aditi’s car into the housing society’s gates. After which, Nitesh Sharma can be seen entering the lift as the security guard watches on.

Here’s a post by Aditi on Facebook that documents a series of pictures of Nitesh Sharma as he brazenly heads to her apartment.

Aditi Nagpaul was at a medical store with her sister and two children when she was followed by Sharma at about 2 in the night. Sharma followed her all the way to her house and even rang the doorbell to Aditi’s house. When he asked her for water, she shouted at him and shut the door. That’s when Aditi started taking pictures of him and lodged a complaint with the police.

Recounting her ordeal on Facebook, Aditi posted the following soon after the incident,

This is shocking and nerve wrecking ! In the last 10 years, I’ve always felt safe in Bombay, and in the same breath have always cursed Delhi! But last night showed me a different side to my ‘not so safe anymore’ city!2 women and 2 kids in a car together don’t stop a random man from stalking and following you upto your house and ringing your door bell at 2am! He dint have any fear in his eyes, a fear of being captured by security cameras , interrogation by security guards or threats of Police! He just hung around coolly in his car long after the incident very comfortable in getting his pictures clicked! So here they are! Please do circulate and make others aware of this mans possible psychotic streak! However , a police complaint has been lodged, and I’m awaiting to find out more details on him to take further necessary actions! But well what a Rakhi! In the end you have to protect your own self...

Just hours after her post, Nitesh Sharma was arrested. He is now being questioned by the police.
