There are over 400 vacancies in the South Eastern Central Railway Zone for Trade Apprentices.

As per an official notification by the South East Central Railway, there are vacancies in the SECR Zone. The Trade Apprentices in Raipur Division & Wagon Repair Shop/Raipur. The interested candidates can apply for the apprenticeship at http://apprenticeship.gov.in

The online applications had started on 26 June 2019 and the candidates can apply till 6 pm on 25 July 2019. There are over 400 vacancies in the South East Central Railway Zone for Trade Apprentices.

Eligibility Criteria

In order to apply for the vacancies in SECR Zone Trade Apprentices, the candidates must have cleared their Class 10 examination or it’s equivalent. The candidates also need to have passed I.T.I. course in the relevant trade from a recognised institution.

The candidates should not be of less than 15 years of age and must not be older than 24 years as on 1 July 2019. However, the upper age limit is relaxed for the candidates from SC/ST, OBC, Ex-Servicemen & PWD categories.

For the candidates from SC/ST, the upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years, for candidates from OBC category, the upper age limit is relaxed by 3 years and for candidates from Ex-Servicemen & PWD categories, the upper age limit is relaxed by 10 years.

The selected candidates will be given apprenticeship training for a period of one year and will be paid stipend as per the rules of Government of Chhattisgarh. Their training will come to an end after the completion of their apprenticeship.
