At a time when everyone’s calling for someone’s ouster and most people don’t want to budge, we have with us a brand new list of some of those personalities who seem to have gotten so comfortable in their positions, that they just don’t want to move - no matter what.

Is it grit, courage, or a ‘I don’t care a damn’ attitude? Go figure.

Karnataka Lokayukta Justice Y Bhaskar Rao’s son, Krishna has been accused of festering corruption.

Phone calls have been traced, his SMSs have been leaked, and a whistleblower has alleged that the Lokayukta’s son asked for a bribe to avert a raid.

The former judge is holding onto his position despite mounting allegations.

It’s the mother of all scams, and the Madhya Pradesh governor, Ram Naresh Yadav is at the heart of it.

His son Shailesh Yadav, an accused in the scam, passed away this March.

An FIR, registered against the Governor in February, was followed by the HRD ministry asking him to quit.

After a Supreme Court notice and an FIR, the fate of the MP governor will be decided pending the return of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The Congress has, obviously, called for his resignation.

5. FTII Chairman

Gajendra Chauhan’s appointment as the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) chairman last month has not gone down well with the institute’s students.

To be fair, Chauhan is not suspected of any illegality or unethical behaviour. It’s just that his appointment has been seen as completely underserving. More and more film personalities including Anupam Kher, Adoor Gopalakrishnan, Ranbir Kapoor, Resul Pookuty and now Rishi Kapoor have lent their voices in support of the students.

Gajendra Chauhan, asking for a chance to prove his mantle, said he will step down only if the government asked him to.
