The Railways Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the basic details of its recruitment drive for 1.3 lakh vacancies in the Employment newspaper, and an official notification elaborating on further details will soon be released on all the regional websites of RRB according to reports.
The recruitment drive will reportedly be conducted for 1 lakh vacancies at the Level 1 positions, while the remaining 30,000 positions will be filled for Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC), Para-Medical Staff, and Ministerial and Isolated Categories.
The NTPC include the following positions: Clerk, Typists, Traffic Assistants, Goods Guard, and Station Master, etc., while the Para-Medical Staff vacancies include Staff Nurse, Health Inspectors, Pharmacist, ECG and Lab Technician.
The recruitment to the Level 1 positions will be for the following posts: Track Maintainer, Technical Assistants, and Assistant Pointsman, while the recruitment to the Ministerial category will be for the posts of Stenographers, Chief Law Assistants and Translator positions.
The Application process for the NTPC will start from 28 February; for Para-Medical Staff - 4 March; for Ministerial and Isolated Categories - 8 March, and for Level 1 Positions the application process will begin from 12 March 2019.
For information on education qualification, eligibility and age criteria for each position, the interested candidates are advised to wait for the official notification.
