The latest in the series of bans our country has witnessed in the recent past, which includes the Maharshtra government banning beef in the state, the VHP now wants to ban the adventure sport of white water rafting that attracts many enthusiasts to Rishikesh.

Leading to many illegal activities, according to VHP, people who come for rafting “mingle, drink and indulge in obscene activities” on the banks of the river Ganga.
