Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray’s son Amit Thackeray is all set to tie the knot with his long time girlfriend Mitali Borude. The duo got engaged on Monday in a family function at Thackeray’s residence in Krishna Kunj, Dadar.
Mitali Borude is a Mumbai based fashion designer by profession. 25-year-old Borude has her own fashion label known as ‘The Rack’. According to a report by the Hindustan Times, the brand is a joint venture of Raj’s daughter, Uravshi, and Mitali.
Not many would know that the duo have exchanged rings on Amit’s parents wedding anniversary.
The couple have been dating for five years now and are all set to tie the knot in 2018, reported Times Now. However, the exact date of the wedding has not been announced as yet.
After the engagement ceremony, an elated Amit took to Facebook to share the joy. He posted a picture with his fiancée and captioned it as the ‘new boss in the house’.
