Rahul Agrees to Apologise for Attributing ‘Chowkidar’ Jibe to SC
Congress President Rahul Gandhi said that he will express his apology for attributing the 'chowkidar chor hai' jibe to the Supreme Court.
The court also adjourned the hearing of Rafale review petitions to 6 May, after the Centre sought time to file a counter-affidavit in the matter. Attorney General KK Venugopal had sought four weeks for filing the affidavit but SC granted time only till 4 May.

‘Ye Kya Bakwas Hai’: Priyanka Gandhi Over Rahul’s Citizenship Row
'Ye kya bakwas hai!' was Priyanka Gandhi's reaction when questioned on the citizenship of her brother Rahul Gandhi.
So here's what happened. The Ministry of Home Affairs sent a notice to the Congress President over his citizenship based on a complaint by Subramanian Swamy. The complaint read that Gandhi is registered as one of the directors of the UK-based company and in two of the company's annual returns, Gandhi has declared his nationality as British.
But some facts need to be put straight here. This isn’t the first time this issue has surfaced. A petition was filed by a lawyer in Supreme Court in 2015 and the court had dismissed the matter. Yes, dismissed. So basically Priyanka rubbishing the matter and congress spokesperson Randeep Surjewala calling it a poll gimmick might have some value.

Army ‘Spots’ Mythical Beast Yeti, Ex-BJP MP Says ‘Show Respect’
The Indian Army claimed to have sighted footprints of the mythical beast, Yeti, for the first time near the Makalu Base Camp in the Himalayas.
Yeti or ‘The Abominable Snowman’, is a mythical ape-like creature taller than an average human that many over the years have claimed to have seen in the Himalayas but not been able to show evidence of.
Amid all the tweets going viral on Yeti, tweet by Tarun Vijay, former editor of RSS, took the debate to another level. He said Indian Army must show respect by not calling Yeti a beast because – ahem ahem – the beast is Indian?

Ness Wadia Gets Suspended 2-Yr Jail Term in Japan Over Possession of Drugs
Far away in Japan, entrepreneur Ness Wadia was caught carrying nearly 25 gram of cannabis resin in his trouser pockets. He even admitted that he had the drugs for his personal use. Arrested more than a month ago, on 20 March, he was sentenced only today ––– to a suspended two-year jail term – which basically means that he won't be put behind bars for now, but he will be arrested if he commits any other crime during a specified period.
The Wadia Group confirmed in a statement that Ness was back in India and the sentence "won't impact him in the discharge of any of his responsibilities."
