1. Dadri Lynching: FIR Against Media For Involving Maneka, 2 Others

An FIR was lodged by the PFA (People for Animals) on Thursday against media persons for falsely dragging Maneka Gandhi and two PFA persons into the Dadri lynching case.

A case was registered under sections 195, 500, 501 and 120 (B) of the IPC. An investigation has been initiated.

2. ‘Stealing’ of Bodies From Graveyard Stumps Police

Theft of dead bodies from a graveyard in Delhi is baffling cops. Bodies of three children were found to be missing from a graveyard located opposite a popular mall. Police suspect it to be the handiwork of stray canines or wild animals.

3. Indian Men’s Lust Fuelling Violent Cyber Porn: CBI to SC

The CBI on Thursday told the Supreme Court that it was extremely difficult to curb circulation of violent porn on the internet as content providers keep shifting websites to cater to the huge “domineering male population” in India showing “insatiable lust and penchant for salacious material”.

Worse, the seamless character of cyber sex crimes makes it impossible for the police, handicapped by state jurisdictions, to vigorously go after offenders.

4. Neeraj Grover Case Accused Maria Susairaj in Fraud Soup

Kannada starlet Maria Susairaj who came into limelight after the murder of TV producer Neeraj Grover in Mumbai was arrested in Ahmedabad on Thursday for an alleged fraud of Rs. 2.11 crore.

A Vadodara based travel agency La-Raib Tours lodged a complaint against her in June this year.

Maoist insurgents have killed a 20-year-old girl in Jharkhand this week. She had joined the extremist group as an 11-year-old.

The body of the deceased, identified as Sanjeeta Kumari, was found on Thursday. She was killed for allegedly spying on behalf of the police.

7. Cop Who Forced Juveniles to Have Sex Surrenders

A suspended police officer surrendered in Chennai on Thursday. He was booked for forcing four juveniles to have sex with each other in police custody.

9. Youth Thrashed for Attempting to Molest Girl

A 22-year-old youth was assaulted in public after he allegedly tried to molest a girl in Bihar on Thursday.
